Data Use & Terms
Nepse Decode publishes free NEPSE market intelligence. This page explains where the data comes from, what you may do with it, and the honest limits of what we publish. The short version: the data is public facts; the analysis is ours; nothing here is investment advice.
Where the data comes from
Prices, indices, floorsheets and corporate-action notices are compiled from public sources: the official NEPSE website and disclosures, company notices mirrored by market portals (ShareSansar, MeroLagani, Arthasansar and others), and Nepal Rastra Bank publications. Every corporate-action record we publish as verified is backed by the official NEPSE notice PDF.
We respect the terms of every upstream source. If a source forbids redistribution, we replace it, seek permission, or publish only derived values with attribution. We keep our scraping load light: requests are cached, rate-limited, and run on a fixed schedule — never a crawl.
What you may reuse
You may quote figures, share links, and screenshot charts for personal, educational, or journalistic use with attribution ("Source: Nepse Decode, shirjankhadka.com.np"). Bulk re-scraping of this site's data files to republish a competing feed is not permitted — if you need bulk access, email us and we'll talk.
Honesty limits
- Public data cannot be hidden. We don't rely on obfuscation; anything on this site is public by design.
- Flows, not holdings. Broker analytics show transaction flows (net bought/sold), never verified beneficial ownership.
- Signals are transparent rules, not predictions. Every signal system's formula and full backtest are published; past performance doesn't predict future results.
- Data can be delayed or wrong. Upstream sources change formats without notice. We validate every build (SHA-256 manifest checked before deploy), but always verify with your broker before trading.
Fair use of this site
Please don't hammer the site with automated requests. Data files are sharded and CDN-cached for normal browsing; aggressive scraping may get rate-limited. Be kind to the shared infrastructure.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
