Value Investing
A sector-aware value screen for NEPSE equities, built on published Q4 FY 2082/83 filings. Every company is scored within its own sector only — a bank is never measured against a hydropower company. A starting point for your own research, not a verdict.

The four factors, in plain language
What the business earns for every rupee of price you pay. Higher means you are paying less for each rupee of earnings.
Limit: earnings can be one-off or cyclical — a high yield can be a trap.
Price versus the accounting value of net assets per share. Below 1 means you pay less than book value.
Limit: book value may overstate assets that are hard to sell, like bad loans.
Return on equity: how much profit each rupee of shareholder capital generated over the last twelve months.
Limit: high ROE from heavy leverage is fragile, not strong.
How many years of current earnings the price implies. Lower usually means cheaper — within the same sector.
Limit: meaningless for loss-making companies; we exclude those.

Archive built from the value history at teardown (2026-10-28); the live screen above refreshes every 60 seconds. Returns are price-only (no dividends), from the screen LTP to the Oct-27 tape LTP; “—” means the screen day itself, no forward window yet. The screen makes no calls and sets no targets — this table records what its top picks did afterwards, nothing more.
Methodology and caveats
Educational only — not investment advice. A high value score means a stock looks cheap on two accounting ratios relative to its sector peers. Cheap can mean undervalued, or it can mean the market sees risks the ratios miss — bad loans, weak governance, stalled projects. We publish no price targets and no buy/sell calls. Read the filings yourself before deciding anything.
