How the Engine Verdict works

Ten transparent factors scored on the daily chart add up to a verdict from Strong Buy to Strong Exit, a mechanical summary of what the chart looks like right now, and every factor's contribution is listed under the verdict. How each factor is scored, with the engine's full track record →

An honest note: NEPSE publishes no free official real-time API, so quotes come from free community mirrors and can be delayed. During market hours (Mon–Fri, 11:00–15:00 NPT) the quote panel refreshes and the chart includes the session in progress; outside hours you see the last closed session.

All signals are mechanical outputs of published rules, shown for education. They are not investment advice, not AI predictions, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Questions

Does this give buy or sell signals?

It shows a rule-based verdict, Strong Buy, Buy, Hold, Exit/Reduce or Strong Exit, with every contributing factor listed. Transparent and educational; not financial advice.

Is the data real-time?

No — quotes refresh during market hours from NEPSE's official feed (LIVE badge shows the data's own timestamp and measured age); outside hours you see the last closed session. History is daily OHLC per stock.

What timeframes are available?

1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, 2Y on daily candles; 5Y and All switch to weekly candles so long histories stay readable.

What this NEPSE chart covers

This NEPSE chart covers every currently listed security — equities, mutual funds, debentures and preference shares. Daily OHLC history comes from the open Nepse-All-Scraper dataset, live quotes during market hours from free community mirrors, and the NEPSE index daily history stretches back to 2003. Timeframes run from 1M to All on daily candles, switching to weekly candles for the longest histories so they stay readable.

The automatic scanner watches each chart for double tops and bottoms, head & shoulders, triangles and wedges, plus regular and hidden RSI and MACD divergences, drawing every detection on the chart with dates and plain-English notes. Securities without scraper OHLC history — typically very new listings — use LTP-only history, are clearly flagged, and have pattern detection disabled.

An honest note: NEPSE publishes no free official real-time API, so quotes come from free community mirrors and can be delayed. During market hours (Monday–Friday, 11:00–15:00 NPT) the quote panel refreshes and the chart includes the session in progress; outside hours you see the last closed session. All signals are mechanical outputs of published rules for education — not investment advice, not AI predictions.
